Fund name changes

You may have seen in the newspapers or on television that Norwich Union is changing to Aviva this year. As part of this change, the collective investment part of Norwich Union became the UK investment arm of Aviva Investors from January 2009, who are the global asset management business of our parent, Aviva.

Ever since we began back in 1797, we have been constantly evolving to stay competitive and give our customers what they want, and the name change is simply the latest example of how we’ve adapted and evolved.

Corporate changes

  • The Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) responsible for the management of the Norwich Union range of collective investment funds will change its name from Norwich Union Collective Investments Limited (NUCIL) to Aviva Investors UK Fund Services Limited (AIUKFSL).
  • Norwich Union Investment Funds Limited (NUIF), the ISA Plan Manager and Distributor will change to Aviva Investors UK Funds Limited (AIUKFL).

The corporate companies mentioned here are the legal structures required to manage and sell investments. You will know them, and see them being referred to as Aviva Investors which is a business name for them both.

Registered address changes (not for customer use)

  • From the 5th January 2009 the registered address for both Aviva Investors UK Fund Services Limited and Aviva Investors UK Funds Limited is No.1 Poultry, London, EC2R 8EJ. Please note, this address is for legal purposes only.

Registered companies in the UK, are required to have a registered address. This is the address of a company to which Companies House and/or other relevant governing body letters and reminders are sent to. It is not the address we use for our customers. You can find our contact address in the ‘Who do I contact now?’ section.

Fund and product changes

The names of our ICVCs – Investment Companies Variable Capital, ISAs - Individual Savings Accounts, Unit Trusts, and funds will be changed to reflect the Aviva Investors name. For example:

  • The Norwich Union Investment Funds ICVC will become Aviva Investors Investment Funds ICVC
  • The Norwich Union Investment ISA will become the Aviva Investors Investment ISA
  • The Norwich Property Trust will become the Aviva Investors Property Trust
  • The Norwich Corporate Bond Fund will become the Aviva Investors Corporate Bond Fund
  • The Norwich Capital Protected Plan will become the Aviva Investors Capital Protected Plan

Brand

  • Your investment is brought to you by Norwich Union and managed by us, Aviva Investors. Once you have made the decision to invest with us, all communications regarding your investment will be with Aviva Investors.
