Private Equity
Aviva Investors has been investing in private equity funds since the mid-1980’s and as such has built strong relationships with a wide range of preferred and sought after private equity funds.
The team is headed by Sue Scollan and currently manages an evergreen allocation of £1.8bn* across a range of accounts for an institutional client base.
The team’s investment strategy focuses on European private equity funds, using a predominantly bottom-up approach to investment selection. Sue joined the company in 1987 and as such her team have full ownership of our long-term track record that goes back to 1991, having been responsible for both the initial investment selection and subsequent monitoring of these investments.
The team has built up an outstanding long-term track record, demonstrating significant skill and consistency in identifying and accessing top-performing funds. This track record incorporates both fund investments and the co-investments that the team has participated in on an opportunistic basis over this period, and which have collectively been a significant source of added return.
