The Aviva Investors Global Property Fund offers investors exposure to the global property markets through listed real estate securities – including REITs – in North America, the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. The increasingly common REIT structure offers investors several advantages over direct property exposure. For example, investors gain immediate and liquid exposure to the property market with less cost than in other forms of real estate investment. Furthermore, the fund invests in a wide variety of listed property companies with different levels of geographical and/or sectoral focus, providing considerable diversification benefits. The Fund was launched in November 2006 and is a UK-based UCITS compliant Open Ended Investment Company (OEIC).
