About us
On 5 January 2009 Norwich Union Collective Investments became known as Aviva Investors - sharing the same name as the global asset management business of our parent, Aviva.
Why we became Aviva Investors
As part its global vision, Aviva created a single asset management brand. On 29 September 2008, Morley, a name you may be familiar with, and most other Aviva asset management businesses around the world, united to become one global business called Aviva Investors.
Launching Aviva Investors created a significant force in global asset management, offering customers the benefits that come from the experience and expertise of managing assets, across virtually every investment class in 21 locations around the world.
The next step in creating a single global business was to align the UK asset management capability. This is why on 5 January 2009, we, formerly Norwich Union Collective Investments, became the UK retail arm of Aviva Investors. This change recognises our expertise in providing collective investments funds in the UK.
Our focus and commitment will continue to be on understanding your needs in this rapidly changing market, and providing investment solutions and service that aim to help meet these needs - both now and in the future.
