Our fund range
Fixed interest funds
Fixed interest investments are often known as bonds and come in all shapes and sizes. A fixed-interest security is a loan, either to a company (corporate bond) or to a government.
In return the company or government aim to pay interest until the end of the loan when they aim to pay the money back.
There is a risk with bonds that the company or government will default on the loan and are unable to pay the interest or the full loan amount back. Overall fixed interest investments are considered more risky than cash, but generally less risky than other asset classes.
Across our range of fixed interest funds we invest in both corporate bonds and gilts and government bonds in different sectors and with different levels of risk depending of the objective of the individual fund.
How to invest
The Fixed Interest funds are available through a number of investment options including the Individual Savings Account (ISA). Please contact us for details of further options.
