The Aviva Investors European Property Fund is a UK-domiciled non-UCITS Retail Scheme Open-ended Investment Company, authorised for sale in the UK. The Fund was previously an open-ended Luxembourg-domiciled non-UCITS SICAV, which was liquidated and its assets transferred to a UK non-UCITS Retail Scheme (NURS) on 18 October 2010. The Fund was the first European (ex-UK) direct commercial property fund offering daily dealing to UK investors. The investment objective of the Fund is to seek income and long-term capital appreciation through property investment in the European Economic Area (excluding the United Kingdom) and Switzerland. The Fund invests in a broadly diversified portfolio of direct property investments, but it can also invest in property shares. The Fund was launched in December 2006 and owns properties in Finland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Poland and the Czech Republic.
