(London) - Aviva Investors today announced that John Gellatly is joining its global real estate multi-manager team to lead the business in Europe. 

John joins Aviva Investors from BlackRock where he has been a managing director and head of real estate fund of funds since 2005.  Prior to joining BlackRock, John was a director at Credit Suisse First Boston working in the real estate investment banking team and prior to that held a variety of roles as a real estate equity analyst, strategist and researcher. John is also vice chair of the Investment Property Forum, Chair of the Forum’s Research Steering Group and has been heavily involved in consultation with Government on a range of issues, most notably UK REITs.

Aviva Investors manages over £3 billion of multi-manager real estate mandates globally. The 20 person real estate multi-manager team works in London, New York and Singapore on segregated indirect real estate portfolios and mandates for institutional clients.
